We require visitors to create an account (become members) in order to access the free features of our site (create tributes and memorials). We do this both to ensure the integrity of the site and to assist with site administration issues. We also need to be certain we have a method of getting in touch (email address) with tribute authors in the event of inaccurate information or a dispute. There is no cost to create an account (Tribupedia is free for life!) and we do not share your personal information with anyone. Again, account creation is only required so that we can provide the Tribupedia community with the best possible experience and services.
It’s a very easy process. First, you create your free account. Then, once you’ve been logged-in, simply hit the “Submit a Tribute” link from the left-hand-navigation column on your Profile Dashboard page.
We have created a simple step-by-step PDF you can download if you’d like detailed instructions! Just click this link to view/download… How To Create an In Loving Memory Tribute
Yes, absolutely. You can create a free In Loving Memory tribute for your loved one and simply use it as an online obituary. You will be able to add funeral / visitation details in the description area of the tribute. There are pre-defined fields for name, dates, and so on – just like a standard fee-based obituary site – and you can add photos and even videos to the tribute page (all at no cost).
Once you’ve created your obituary / In Loving Memory tribute, you can easily share the page with friends and family via social media sharing options (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more) on the page or you can simply copy the URL of the obituary and send it out through your email program.
Tribupedia also has a free guest book on each In Loving Memory page where friends and family can light virtual candles, leave virtual flowers, share messages with friend and family, and even share memories of the departed.
