Helen Rhea Fultz

My “Aunt Rhea” was an inspirational woman in my life. She had a silent strength, was a dedicated mother and wife and loved cooking, writing and keeping family first.

She loved her grandchildren and considered it a privilege to get to babysit for them. She was very proud of her two sons. She couldn’t say enough great things about either of them. She absolutely adored them. She loved their wives too, respected them and went out of her way to be good to them and make them know she loved them.

She was my mom’s sister and my mother has still never gotten over losing her sister so suddenly and unexpectedly. She was my aunt and she was another woman in my life I knew I could count on. I could go to her with joy, struggles, happiness or defeat. She was always consistent. She loved me unconditionally.

She and I shared the love of family and the love of cooking. We shared many recipes with each other. She was a beautiful and strong woman. I treasure my memories of our times together and the lessons I learned from her. She will always be missed and she will never be forgotten.
