HISTORY:

Alphonse Gabriel “Al” Capone was arguably the most notorious and well-known of the American gangsters from the country’s Prohibition-era. The Chicago Outfit, which subsequently became known as the “Capones”, was dedicated to smuggling and bootlegging liquor, and other illegal activities such as prostitution, in Chicago and other major metropolitan cities from the early 1920s to 1931.
